Her silence was betrayal

she never uttered a word

she never let her tears roll down

the wounds were hidden and the scars were brushed away

the only one who could see her

he could read the swollen eyes

the sleepless nights fighting the fears

he holds her closer to him

she weeps for a while

until he is soaked in her tears

again she rises up like a butterfly from the cocoon

loving him like never before

like the phoenix from the ashes

he was her endowment

the one who let her live as she loved

she rose from the ashes and flew like an eagle

she could fly away with her broken wings

her courage was spellbound

in spite of criticisms, she took pride in herself

and flew away to higher altitudes

unreachable to everyone

only his love could bring her back to him

she knew, that his love for her was the only reason she would be surviving

he loved her so much that,

she never had to sacrifice her dreams

he knew only her dreams could help her live

she dreamt of him..for a merrier life.
