The echo of your laughter
brightens my day
enlivens my loneliness
departing ways from you is like death
life snatches me away from you
yet I carry you in my heart
like a heartbeat of the heart
you preserve my life
as you embrace me
it is like flower beds awakening
in the barren land
protect me
as I might break into pieces like the mirror
without you life is impossible.
the pieces of the broken glass
looked like her broken soul
shattered into thousands of pieces
she was a confused soul
repenting on being silly
she was drowning in her own life
she lost what was dear to her
there was none extending a hand to help
she stood on like a powerful soul
sinking herself into the dilemmas
the darkness creeping into her soul
her voice was silenced
there was no power to pull her up from the black hole
the weight of being rebellious cost her life
far ahead she saw the shine of hope
the hope that was drug to her life
she consumed it with all her heart
the drug of love
and She lived.
“Trust me, ” he said holding my hands
all I did was look deep into his eyes
I could feel the pulse of his soul in his hands
his eyes were filled with the love he had for me
All I knew was that I would never betray him nor does he
his love made me stronger
all I wanted to was to be embraced with his soul forever
I knew that he would fulfill my promises
even if it meant that I have to wait for years and years
I knew that the love that is in his heart for me is forever
as he slowly drifted his hands away from my hands
I just wished I could hold on to it
I held his fingers that were sliding away from my hand
one last look I gave to him
kissing him multiple times in my heart
I didn’t know how long was too long
my heart never knew how to measure the distance or time
he just smiled but his eyes told me that he could not bear the pain of leaving me
to keep him happy, I too smiled back with my teary eyes
to keep ourselves stronger during the wait, we decided to live it.
I sat beside the window
watching the trees battling with the wind
I felt numb as I knew my mind was battling the same inside me
the battle keeps on until one looses
but for me, it was just me and my soul fighting
I didn;t know whom to support
when one fought for my happiness and another one happiness of others
one was for him, and one was against him
the battling kept on going powerful
yet none succeeded
I knew that the one my soul ever wanted was him
it never stopped, and stood up the best way
As he held me strongly, the battle slowly favoured him
I knew, in the end, my happiness would be chosen, as it is the destiny.
I walked upon my sacrifices and the pain that I buried in my soul
to reach for him, as he held my hands
I felt like I was taken up to heaven
his eyes looked upon mine as if I was a princess to him
As he kissed me, I felt all my bits fallen away into the thin air
The only thing left was just me with the one I loved.
The magic begins, when you are with me
the magic of love, when you touch me
the way you behold me in your arms
igniting the very inner senses in my body
the warmth of your soul
that heats up my mortal part
my body seemed to move along with yours
it is like the movement is not in my control
as you were immersed in me
all I could see was your eyes
the ones that told me multiple times
how much you loved me
the more your lips held mine
I knew how much we missed each other
I realized how meandering was our separation
I wished as you wished every second of my life was with you
forever was a word beyond our life
I wished we could be bonded for all the lives coming in for us
the more I was away from you, I realized how empty my life is..
my soul lust after yours…..beyond infinity.
